How to Enter a Show

Choose Your Classes

Review the schedule below and pick the classes that suit you and your horse. Maximum of two classes per horse.

Complete Your Entry

Fill in the online entry form, or download the PDF. Don’t forget your horse’s up-to-date AHS vaccination copy.

Make Payment

Pay by Cash, USD Bank Transfer, or ZiG. Attach your proof of payment with your entry.
4

Show Day

Bring your AHS vaccination copy on the day. Class 1 starts at 8:00 AM. We’ll see you in the arena.

Each class has been designed to be welcoming and progressive — fence heights fall within stipulated ranges to encourage horses and riders to move up the grades confidently.

Who is Eligible

The show is unranked and therefore open to all riders, ponies or horses. Each rider may compete a maximum of two classes per horse.

  • Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 13: open to children, juniors and adults; open to ponies and horses. Rosettes are awarded to children separately.
  • Classes 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18: open to juniors and adults. Juniors and adults will compete together in the same class.
  • No double entry allowed in the Welcome Stakes.
  • Entries operate on a first-come, first-served basis — early entry is encouraged.

Show Rules

Although unranked, horse and rider welfare remain paramount. All competitors are expected to comply with FEI principles for horse welfare, rider conduct and anti-doping.

  1. All horses must have up-to-date AHS vaccinations and passports. A copy of the AHS vaccination must be attached to your entry.
  2. Horses compete in a maximum of two classes per show.
  3. Some lower heights will see children, juniors and adults compete together; juniors and adults compete together throughout.
  4. Dress: show attire and jackets are optional.
  5. Late entries will incur double the applicable entry fee.
  6. Entries on the day will be at the discretion of the show convenor.
  7. The organisers reserve the right to cancel, amalgamate or postpone any class.
  8. The event organisers reserve the right to conduct anti-doping tests on winners, placed or random horses and ponies.

Indemnity

Neither the Organisers, nor Wild Geese Lodge, Country Road Acres, staff, stewards nor the officials shall be held liable for any accident, damage, loss, injury or illness to any person, animal or property arising from whatsoever cause.

The entry of every owner and the participation of every competitor, official or other persons whomsoever shall be on the conditions of and subject to this indemnity.

The undersigned parent/guardian consents to the above-named rider participating in this event and agrees to abide by the rules and conditions of entry.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The show is unranked and therefore open to all riders, ponies or horses.
  2. All horses must have up-to-date AHS vaccinations and passports.
  3. Entries operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
  4. Some of the lower heights — children, juniors and adults will compete together.
  5. Adults and juniors will compete together.
  6. The show organisers reserve the right to cancel, amalgamate or postpone any class/es.
  7. Dress — show attire and jackets optional.
  8. Shaded areas for horses and grooms will be provided, together with grazing, water, wash bays, hay and grooms’ facilities.
  9. Entries are not transferable between riders. Riders may be changed on a horse already entered, provided the change is approved by the Show Convenor prior to the commencement of the class.
  10. Late entries will incur double the applicable entry fee.
  11. Entries on the day will be at the discretion of the show convenor.
  12. Entries are non-refundable. Refunds will only be considered upon submission of either a veterinary certificate confirming the horse is unfit to compete; or a medical certificate confirming the rider is unable to compete.
  13. No refunds will be issued under any other circumstances.
  14. Dogs are permitted; however, they must remain on a lead and under control at all times whilst on the property.
  15. Should a rider have a fall anywhere on the grounds of Country Road Acres or Wild Geese Lodge, they must be assessed and cleared by the medic on duty before remounting.
  16. The medic on duty has the authority to exclude a rider from a class or from the remainder of the show should they deem the rider unfit or unsafe to continue.
  17. There is an unfenced and uncovered swimming pool situated on the Wild Geese Lodge property which is strictly out of bounds. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the supervision, safety and conduct of their children at all times.
  18. Although the show is unranked, the organisers will be guided by the FEI Rules & Regulations regarding horse and rider welfare.

Course Designer & Builder

The Country Road Acres course is laid by our appointed Course Designer and Course Builder for each show. Both are credited on the official schedule and entry form for that specific show.

Series 1 (14 June 2026): Course Designer — TBC; Course Builder — TBC.

Arena raking and watering will be carried out throughout the day to ensure optimal footing conditions for every class.
